Window Shading

Postby gio.depace » Tue Feb 19, 2013 11:23 am

Hello,
DS in my project I added the shielding outside the windows of the type with low reflectivity Blind slats. In the data of the blades I have defined minimum angle 0 ° and maximum angle 90 °, however, vanes angle 45 °. As a type of solar control and a SET POINT 200 (W / m²). I want to know if the slats according to the SET POINT are oriented at a different angle on the basis of radiation of solar or remain fixed at 45 °.
is urgent.
Thanks for availability.

They remain fixed at the angle of 45°. The setpoint controls the presence of the shading.
At 200 W/m² the shading is going down with angle 45°.

Of je take the idf file, produced by Designbuilder in the energyplus folder, and you open it in energyplus, you can edit the file to make the orientation of the slats controleable.

I wish I had another piece of information, when I define the template of the glass and I put a screening system built into the template must also indicate the glass screen system used.
Thank you.
