Relative Humidity

Postby HeaCoo » Tue Apr 18, 2017 10:28 am

I have some problems to control the relative humidity in an zone (40 – 60%) in design builder.
Detailed HVAC is used: "7-multizone humidity maximum" & "6-multizone humidity minimum"

The DB result viewer shows relative humidity up to 70%, so the system is not working.

Error in .idf file:
** ~~~ ** ...zone name = X08VERGADERRUIMTE:ZONE1
** ~~~ ** ...design sensible cooling load = 1934.35 W
** ~~~ ** ...thermostat set point temp = 0.000 C

However, the zone setpoint for heating is set to 21,5°C
Schedule:Compact,
Berchem SP heating,
Any Number,
Through: 12/31,
For: AllDays,
Until: 24:00, 21.5 ;

Can somebody have a look to the design builder file or .idf and tell me what I have to change?

I encountered the same trouble. You have to set desirable relative humidity deadband in the activity tab data.
