Importing model files from Sketchup

Postby TAE » Mon Nov 05, 2012 4:42 pm

I have a couple of modestly complex Sketchup files of small commercial office and housing facilities that I would like to import into DB, to avoid having to recreate the models in DB\'s version of Sketchup. I don\'t find a direct import Sketchup file in DB. I can export them as xml files from Sketchup (the openstudio plugin to Sketchup has the exporter - it reads \"export gbXML model\", but the file created has a .xml suffix). When I go to import the 3d gbXML file, this file shows up but the result is nothing I can see or use in in the preview windows or finally in DB.

Any suggestions?
