Modelling of incomplete external insulation

Postby john.richardson@ncl.ac.uk » Mon Oct 12, 2015 9:08 pm

I aim to model a 1950s multi-storey apartment block where internal wall insulation was added to perimeter walls. Therefore the intermittent concrete floors (which completely penetrate the external fabric) are uninsulated and form repeating cold bridges.
Any tips on how best to represent this in design builder?

Hello,

Perhaps this external wall section could be modelled by drawing a Sub-surface construction.
