Construction with different wall thickness

Postby jain37557 » Wed Jun 06, 2018 10:37 am

I am trying to make a room ( or 1 zone) such that two adjacent walls have different thickness and possibly different materials as well. Can it be done ? If yes how would it be done ? Thanks in advance :)

Yes, you can use the Sub-surface object to draw the wall second type of wall. Then assign the 2nd wall construction to the sub-surface construction.

Placing an small hanging partition can also be used to split the wall surface into 2 adjacent walls. Then assign the construction to each wall accordingly.

Thanks so much for the information, Luis. My father is trying to do the same thing and your suggestions are helping him a lot.
