Spreadsheet View

Postby kbharathk » Fri Apr 22, 2016 7:18 pm

Really missing a spreadsheet view in design builder. Most major softwares (equest, Trace, IES) have a spreadsheet view where you can view all inputs for a category at once in a spreadsheet format. It is very easy to change similar items in multiple spaces in this view. Also, typos can become very evident. Right now it takes many clicks to navigate from one item to another to change similar items.

Please seriously consider incorporating this feature in future versions.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

Yes, the spreadsheet view is on the development list for future versions but there isn't yet a time scale for this project.

Best regards,

Is it possible to see somewhere all the input data. Not a spreadsheet, but maybe an option in the propertie? (also geometric properties like total area of the walls and windows?)

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to see the model inputs as you describe using the Model data grid view at menu Tools. This feature is available in DBv5.4.
